 Townsville BBQ Battle

Thank you Townsville

Wow!! Thank you Townsville for supporting our 1st BBQ Battle. We had an attendance of approx 12,000 through out the whole day.

Feedback from teams was that a number of people were genuinely interested in Low and Slow BBQ. This was one of our goals to promote this amazing cuisine to our region.

It was great to see so many families roaming through the site, another goal we had was to provide a family friendly event. How good were the Fireworks?

Lastly, we wanted to showcase our region. By coming down and supporting our event this definitely happened. Townsville Shines once again.

Without the generous support of sponsors, vendors, volunteers and the businesses involved, the BBQ Battle wouldn’t have had the amazing attendance that we saw yesterday. Thanks to Phillip Thompson for raising awareness of Mental Health.

Adrian was a hoot and would love to come back next year. Stay tuned for next years Townsville BBQ Battle.
